Noticeably absent from Wednesday’s Rock and Roll event was iFund recipient themselves: ngmoco! These guys have been quiet for a while now but don’t think they’ve slacked off.

LiveFire KillTest Eliminate News

The upcoming FPS from ngmoco which has seen numerous name changes tremendous following finally gets a final name: Eliminate. Along with that its official site and trailer video have been released:

Up next, Topple 2 free? Plus more games get invited to the Plus+ Network.

Closer Look: Eliminate

From the video, we get a feel of the theme of the game. The game is set in a weapon’s manufactures testing arena, where employees test battle-suits and weapons in “the most realistic conditions”. The video also revels a bit of how the game is structured.

Players can play all they want, but there is a daily quote of energy. As long as you have energy, your kills count as in-game credits which you can use to upgrade suits, buy new weapons, etc. If you’re out of energy, you can still play, but won’t gain any credits. Energy is recharged daily.

The game is close, according to the game’s site it’s “final systems check” :) . Like with the Rolando 2 release, there are blocks on information on the site that will be revealed in time. The countdown is on for each block, the first being in about 3 days. Though we don’t know when it’ll be released, we know it’s near, and looking good.

Need we say more?

More Plus+!

It’s a Plus+ world, it’s a Plus+ world… errr… well it is true ;) . We talked about it earlier how a bunch of games were getting the Plus+ treatment apparently, and it’s coming true. Topple 2 is now Plus+ and free in Canada (rumor has it it’ll be free worldwide soon). Add to that this teaser from ngmoco labeled “coming soon to a device near you”:

So there you have it folks. Ngmoco didn’t jump ship to a new mobile platform  because what else is out there? The Pre? Androids? Pfft! Good luck with that.
