Woohoo! Unbeknownst to many, Ng:Moco stirred up quite a storm with regards to it’s (arguably) most famous franchise: Rolando 2. To make it short, Ng:Moco announced it’ll be released July 1 and that the original Rolando will be taken off the store.
But wait fresh from Ng:Moco’s Twitter account…
Ng:Moco caved in to requests and will NO LONGER pull out the original Rolando. With the news, Topple will make a comeback as well!
The Pull Out Announcement
Sometime last weekend, a Ng:Moco rep posted on TouchArcade stating Rolando 2 will be released July 1 (as prophetized by me!)… and that the original Rolando will be taken off!!!
They went on to clarify they’re just stopping sales and not support “to make room for Rolando 2″. But SMH, why? I mean this isn’t a book you need to re-run copies of, or ship out new game cases… it’s a friggin digital download.
The Uproar
As confusing the decision was, Ng:Moco turned the iPhone webs into a frenzy. No one was exactly sure why they’re doing it, or the whole reasoning behind it even making sense.
A lot of review sites blogged about the controversial news and what was once a “forgotten” title reclaimed the spotlight.
They’re Going Nowheeerrre!
Hooray! Ng:Moco caved in (yay and thanks!) and they will NOT pull Rolando anymore. Topple will make a comeback as well.
So there you have it folks! If you didn’t know anything about Rolando or Rolando 2, Ng:Moco just told you through this firestorm.
